Hello !

I'm now level 17. I've visited Whiterun, Falkreath, Morthal, brief visit to Windhelm and now I'm in riften.

I've joined the companions but I have not finished their quest. I've done 4-5 sidequests in theses area, many miscelannous of course and now I have many main quest active. The main story quest is now for me to go back in riverwood and meet again that lady after we slayed a dragon south of windhelm wich I visited just before doing so.

Now I'm in Rifthen, and I'm wondering if at that stage I should finish dawnguard and stop the vampire attack that way, or is it too soon ? When I'm done dawnguard will I be too op for the others quests ?

I dont really mean vampire attack after all, no NPC has died even thought I had to reload a couple time. But they are annoying at time, worse than Dragon I found. (I've met only 2 random dragon encounter, a part from 1 misc quest and the mains dragons of the story line where I'm at)


Also I built my char pretty much melee fight like a nord wit some basic healing spells that I use with my power. I've focused on one-handed combat, block, heavy armor, archery and a bit of two handed and healing spells.


So just looking for some advice.


Should I also join the thieves guild ? Would it fit my char ? Is it only optional to join them ? Can I join them later in game ?
