Making a dungeon your home

Post » Mon Jan 14, 2013 6:19 am

So I'm bored of all the purchasable homes in Skyrim and I want to live somewhere new. I checked UESP and found that there are quite a few dungeons with safe storage and they never respawn. When it says they don't respawn, does this also mean that enemies won't respawn either?

Use Broken Oar Grotto as an example. It's clearable and it says that it never respawns. My question is if that only refers to the storage.

If you frequent it enough they won't, but you can always re kill them and dump the bodies.

Unless they start wearing your spare Daedric armor and start using your Daedric bow of awesome, then you might have a problem :)

Edit: I'm kidding about the last part.

Safe refers both to storage end enemies. However, if there are enemies just outside the dungeon, they will respawn as this is not the same cell. Also, sometimes not all bodies of killed enemies disappear. For example, the Nightcaller Temple (the tower outside Dawnstar, related with one of the Deadric quests) never respawns itself, but the ice wraiths or trolls before the entrance will respawn and some of the dead orcs and deadric prince worshippers inside the temple will remain there even after a very long time.
