Hi. I've been getting familiar with the creation kit for a while, and I'm ready to do something a little more complex.

My idea is to make a mod that adds a kind of mini-game to Skyrim which one plays before he or she ends up in the cart with Ulfric. Ideally items/stats from the "prelude" for lack of a better word would carry over into the actual game once it starts.

Most of what I want to do I've done to some extent, and a lot of it I have an idea of how to do, but I really can't come up with a starting point for doing something that would run through a little story prior to vanilla intro.

I'm just trying to orient myself here, and hopefully somebody will point me in the direction of a tutorial or some reading material.
