How to set a combat behaviourfor an npc?

I am not talking of presets but if I want a mage for example to use the powersI givehim likeres deads, fire at a trap to enable it , use the stAffpowers and trap magic etc how can Imset all this up to be performed? Or I just to need throwthepowersin his pools and theAi does everything?

Kinda strange it is determined on the Magic Effect tab and not on the Spells tab.
