I was just wondering about people's guitars/instruments they own or want to own and what they think of them. I'm in the search for a nice 8 string with a whammy bar (basically my only requirements.. extra frets would also be a bonus) at the moment. Edit: for band practice I use my friends Warlock.. It's a very 16 year olds guitar and it has issues but it does the trick

I shopped around for a guitar for my GF for Christmas. I figured I would buy her something simple since she is just learning. So, I bought one of those $100 walmart specials. Decently built, the strings are crap, but for someone who wants to learn but might not want to get really into it, it was perfect. If she takes it up, I will get a nicer one.

I've got an ovation celebrity. Very nice, except for one annoying thing. It may just be the strings, not sure, but I've found doing bars on it very tough compared to other guitars I've played.
