Elder Scrolls Noob w a Few Questions

Post » Fri Jan 18, 2013 3:45 am

Hi guys,

I'm a WoW refugee; when they released Kung Fu Panda, I realized I had to quit if I wanted to keep any measure of self respect intact.

I'm a Mac user, so my gaming options are very limited, and alas I've never played Elder Scrolls... but ESO is Mac-friendly, and apparently the system requirements aren't too stringent, so my GeForce 9400 should be able to run it.

I don't miss WoW, but I miss gaming, I miss that fantasy world immersion, and playing with real people. Looking at all the media out on ESO, I am DROOLING over it. It all looks like it's going to be incredible. I've decided I want to create a Bosmer...

I like that you only use 4 or 5 hotkeys, and not the 12 required of you in WoW, with tedious rotations to remember, etc.

One thing I'm not clear on is can you play ESO in third person? (I prefer third person, I like to see my character)

Also, they're saying you use your mouse to attack and block....I'd prefer to bind those abilities to keys on my keyboard, does the game allow you to do that?

Thanks!

This game is designed to be played for third person, there is a 1st person option for the Elder Scrolls Fans (Me Included) whom which I am sure you haven't been acquainted with...yet

I don't know about the bind keys though
