The irony here is obvious, isn't it? Yes, this may be TES rather than D&D, but like most things in TES they got a lot of their ideas from either Tolkien or D&D, so why not this? Why not find some plot device that turns Dragonborn into his/her D&D namesake, only with differences to make it unique to TES? For example, first thing I'd change would be getting rid of the clothes and weapons.
