» Sat Jan 19, 2013 3:44 pm I played just fine last night; only thing that changed since then is that I updated Apachii's skyhair and Asis. Then rebuilt bashed patch, ASIS.jar, and BOSS'ed, for the sake of it. I tried reverting both mods to their previous versions with NMM, doesn't help, the game still doesn't load. Under WryeBash, 'saves' tab, the latest saves appear completely synchronised with current load order. (Not that it could matter, as I don't actually get the chance to try and load any savegame, nor start anew)
Only single thing that seems off, is that Wrye Bash colors Dawnguard.esm and Hearthfire.esm with red backgrounds. Which should mean they're supposed to be deactivated. Which I don't do, because it doesn't make sense, and because I have several dependencies to these esms.

I "verified game cache" from Steam, and updated Wrye Bash to the latest (it was one version late). Dawnguard and Hearthfire are listed fine now, no red backgrounds. Game still doesn't load.

I guess I could just delete and reinstall Skyrim completely, but with that mod list, I strongly suspect I'd be unable to continue with my current character - which I like a lot. This crash sounds like something obvious that I could have missed, like I just inadvertently unchecked a mod that the game needs to load, or something like that. But I just can't see anything wrong. It loads up to the menu background, and crashes right when it should display the start menu itself. I don't know what I should try - maybe a fresh eye on my problem and/or modlist could come up with a solution?
