I plan on rolling a healer, but I wonder if being a healer would cripple my chances of becoming emperor.

Does anybody know what factors specifically factor into becoming emperor, if your faction does indeed take all the major PoIs?

No info on that yet I think, but if it's like every other game out there, heals won't count for diddly when going for contribution in fights :/

Time to campaign for otherwise would be now/before game goes to beta.

There is no word on what it will exactly take to become emporer other than alot of your time.

After seeing the newer faction video I don't think any players are becoming emporer in the traditional sense anyways, it seems to me like there will be NPC leaders of each faction who take up the throne physically and the best player or most contributing player in that faction is just given emporer as a title for the player base to swoon over.

Just my thoughts, but the public doesn't know yet.

It did in Warhammer Online though.
