So I'm looking to start a blog. It'll be about security/technology/software type stuff. Lately I've been getting my hands dirty hosting some WordPress blogs for various people and have been meaning to play around with Drupal to get some experience with that CMS too.

Which brings me to my point: I'm actually looking to use Google Blogger for this blog. I want a nice well-rounded experience with various CMSes, and I've never played with blogger, but I have a few questions:

I'll probably eventually switch to Wordpress on a VPS. I've read some things about Blogger->wordpress migrations being pretty simple. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with it.

Is there any syntax highlighting (for embedding code) feature/plugin for blogger?

Anyone recommend some cool themes for blogger/places I can find good themes? I'm not against paying a small fee for one if one is good.

And of course any general tips are welcome too. For those curious, the blog will end up on defron.org most likely.
