I am sure many of yoy have seen the people traveling (theres some that are taking gifts to someone and theres a noble on a horse) andthey have real crappy attitudes. I was wanting to know do they have a purpose in the game or should I just kill the popus bastards and take their loot.

They are there to give some life to the wilderness other than wolves and bandits. IMO there should be more of them.

I do to I jsut didnt know if they had a quest or something like that attached to them. I like most of the travelers (hunters the bard ones like that) but the rich stuck up ones I want to take them out.

you'd think those nobles would have some sort of carriage and be escorted by multiple armed guards... everyone is always talking about how dangerous skyrim is and yet the nobles tend to walk/ride a horse on their own with nothing but daggers and/or an armed guard.

Yeah... But those Fine Clothes are boss

those clothes might as well be big red targets for bandits xP
