Some things that are still annoying

I borrowed Skyrim a few days ago from a friend just to try it with patch 1.7 since I sold my copy without ever downloading it. So I started a new game and was pretty surprised. The game performed pretty well. There was no big lagging and not a single freeze. But a few hours into the game after completing the civil war the game froze for the first time. After restarting and saving a few minutes later the save file switched immediately from 5.2 MB to 5.5 MB and the lagging and freezes became insane. But I've also found out the following problems:

1. The graphics are terrible. I remember that Skyrim always had terrible textures and shadows but this is just a bad joke. It really seems that they reduced the graphics because it looks even worse than Oblivion.

2. I still can't marry Lydia. I remember this was patched with 1.5 but now it doesn't work anymore.

3. "Blood on the Ice" is still unplayable. Even if I tried it right after the beginning the guard wasn't where he was supposed to be.

4. Instead of the stupid dead Dragon that fell from the sky every time I entered Whiterun it is now a dead giant (that's not a joke!).

5. People die for no reason. I found Belethor in Whiterun and Taarie in Solitude dead and naked on the streets. Also guards seem to attack people for no reason.

6. Enemies can block my attack while attacking me. There is not even a blocking animation which is very annoying.

7. Even after buying the perk I can't block arrows with my shield.

8. I've got one-hit-killed multiple times by weak bandits.

I'm very curious what bugs 1.8 will introduce and how terrible the game will perform after the DLCs arrive.
