(I did the Alteration enchantment with the fortify restoration loop. The reasoning was for detect dead after dragon fights in cities. I'm very OCD to make sure no NPCs die due to dragon attacks in settlements or by vampire attacks introduced through the DLC Dawnguard. I don't like NPCs dying. At all. I need Detect Life to make sure NPCs were not killed and as my build isn't for magic at all, I had to cheat in this one regard.)
Banded Iron Shield - Increases fire resistance by 44%. Increases shock resistance by 44%.
Armor rating - 393
Magic Resistance - 73% (Two enchantments and Agent of Mara)
Steed Stone
I usually sneak around with my bow or dagger to kill enemies or I'll do straight up shield bash and strike with my sword tactics when detected or there's a lone enemy. Even though I invested in dual wield, I rarely duel wield. It just isn't my style.
