No way of starting Dawnguard if you are already a vampire? : V

Right? I can′t start Dawnguard (e.g. joining the Dawnguard Faction or The Vampires) if I am already a vampire, correct?

You can do the first quest. When you return and decide to stay with the Dawnguard, Isran will ask you to cure yourself.

CAn you still become a VampireLord if you are already a vampire or is there some sort of "reset" or denial of the "gift"?

You just get a bit of extra dialogue if you are already a vampire and want to be a Vampire Lord.

I play with two Vamp Mods /BetterVamps/ and wonder if there is some sort of resett to the vamp lord powers?

I think there are - or will be - mods for the Vampire Lord too. Anyhow, if you want to keep using your current mods you can always cure yourself after you finish Dawnguard and get infected with regular vampirism again

I recomned you to become VL it is much better than warewolf. I quess we need upgrades for warewolf in future :-)
