Clever Titled Needed For English Paper

Post » Tue Jan 22, 2013 7:38 pm

I'm writing a paper for my intro to lit class about the play The Real Inspector Hound and I can't think of anything witty to title it. The most I can come up with is something related to Inception (cuz it's a play within a play).

And no, I will not title it The Death of the Albatross.

For the record; a clever title doesn't compensate for a crap paper.

Of course it doesn't. I just like having clever titles for all my papers. It's sort of like my trademark.

I was thinking maybe something like "The Mysterious Affair at Muldoon Manor" to pay homage to Agatha Christie idk.

Reading a short synopsis of the play, I'm immediately inclined to pun, somehow, on the "Murder of Gonzago".

" I tried thinking of a clever title... but decided [censored] it and asked a forum on the internet....Sorry"

It's not really your trademark if your not the one thinking up the title :P

If you're gonna have a clever title, make it one that relates to your actual argument, rather than just any old play on words that's vaguely related to the text.

What is your argument?

Give us your introduction paragraph. The introduction is the most important part of a piece, who needs a title?

That's how you get expelled, possibly prosecuted, and ostracized for the rest of your life.
