Atari files for bankruptcy

With Atari's Bankruptcy filing, and THQ takin a dirt nap, I do wonder what other companies will be on the horizon. Still hope EA goes down the tubes. They just butcher games under their control. *Not fact, not proven, just my personal opinion*

As CptJoker pointed out, EA's losing money pretty badly these days. They're not in any imminent danger of going out of business (at least not yet, but eventually even they will run out of value at the clip they're going), but if they don't start taking a good hard look at their business plan and figuring out a way to adapt to the market, they could very well find themselves joining THQ and Atari in bankruptcy court some day.

I love how you people will use any excuse to grab your damn soapboxes

Anyway I'm not surprised but saddened on how it's turned out. Thank you Atari for the wonderful memories :)

Yeah, my feeling is that EA are trying to distort the market to do what they want to do rather than the other way round. They may continue to get away with it, but it's a risky strategy.
