Great game, but broken achievements are frustrating

I know this isn't the first time someones posted on this topic, but heres my two cents anyways. Loved the game. In addition to the entertaining gameplay, the atmosphere of the Dishonored universe is engrossing. It begs to be explored.
A handful of the achievements, however, have been aggravating; most notably Clean Hands. According to my mission stats screens I should have the achievement. I have read the posts on all the rules one is required to follow and some of the trip ups that prevent aquiring it. Which, I believe, I shouldn't have to do. I also think I shouldn't have to babysit unconscious bodies and civilians, unless there is a way I can be notified that something has gone wrong. I have no idea where I went wrong and retried some key spots. I don't mind the achievement being picky, I like a challenge, but I need to know where I made a mistake and the rules should be laid out in advance. Though, why not make the rules as straightforward as the achievement implies.

I must remind myself, as I complain about this, that I would rather have a quality game than a functional list of achievements. I do believe Dishonored to be a great game.

At least you aren't saying (as others have) 'Would have been a good game, except the achievements don't work!!'

I understand the frustration, but personally had no problem with achievements and have all but two of them (for the main game anyway, the DCT achievements are too tough!). Just about to complete my 'Shadow' playthrough, so I'll cross my fingers and hope I get luckier than other folks have. :P

Good luck getting them!
