I asked this question before Christmas but with all the hustle and bustle I never read the answer and can't find the thread. Anyway, I have a Stag in a cage Linked to a empty idle marker so it won't move until gate is opened and it goes mental, this is already scripted and works...but...originally before linking it to a marker I navmeshed insdie the cage and didn't connect it to the main, exterior, navmesh, this works too it doesn't move but as you can guess when door is opened it goes nuts but can't get out. I connected the mesh inside the cage to the main mesh. Now it will open the door itself (when player enters cell), go for a walk then back inside the cage to its marker. What can I do to stop it doing this?
