Custom World Map Question

Post » Wed Jan 23, 2013 3:46 am

I am having a hard time finding information on what I am looking for in the net. I am not sure if I am wording it correctly either.

I made a custom map in GeoControl and exported it correctly (this time) to the CK and it renders wonderfully. When I go into test it with the ~cow command and then I press the M key to bring the world map into view after my character is loaded, my map doesn't show up in the map window. The original Skyrim one is there instead of my world.

I have None selected for the Parent Worldspace option in Worldspaces. I cannot find anything on how to go about making my custom map show in the in-game map window. Is this possible to make it appear and will it look as detailed as the original Skyrim map?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You need to generate the terrain LOD (Level Of Detail). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kB2rqH7Ytko's Alexander J. Velicky's tutorial on setting up the necessary files and generating the different types of LOD present in the game. There are three types of LOD: terrain, object and tree.
