XP will reach end of support on April 8 2014 after which the OS will be effectively dead. Once that happens you'll not receive security updates and will thus be even more exposed to malware etc. Do the world a favour and update to a newer version, you have until the end of the month to upgrade to Win 8 for a discounted price.
