the silver weapon's inherent ability is its more effective against undead. my character is a vampire, and right now daedric swords do 21 damage without upgrade, a silver sword does 12. but when i equip a silver sword, back out of the inventory, and go back in to see its stats, the damage jumps to 37. when i enchant it, the enchantment descrpition is still "is especially effective against undead" but the enchantment still works. my question is, does the enchantments power go up when i equip the silver sword? the damage of a silver sword goes from 17 to 37 when i equip it, like i said thats better than daedric. but the undead factor effects the user apparently. has anyone figure it out?
i could test it by putting a "paralyze for 5 seconds" enchantment then go paralyze something and count the amount of time they are paralzed but my enchanting strong character isnt a vampire, my warrior is.
so again to conclude........ does a silver sword's enchantment (element damage) increase when wielded by a vampire?
