I've searched around the forums for a similar topic, but to no avail.

So, my main concern is the mechanics of travel throughout the entire continent of Tamriel - a freakin' huge chunk of land to explore by impractically walking to every destination. One does not simply walk into Mordor LOL.

I understand that wayshrines are an option, but for small scale travel across a region what kind of variety can we expect/hope to see - Mounts? Carriage? Sailboat?

Assuming they are options, is it going to be similar to a fast travel mechanic where you black out and end up at your desired location?

Would you be able to sit through the ride and see the journey (like a gryphon in WoW)? Say you notice something interesting along this carriage ride and decide to hop off to explore, would that be an option you'd like?

Just some things I've been speculating about as I don't want to waste time trudging my heavily armored Orc everywhere, however, at the same time, I'd like to still be able to enjoy the scenery and explore as I please without the restriction of the set path of my carriage. Can there be a middle-ground, or would it have to be one or the other?
