End Of January - Announce BETA Signups. Over the next month, getting the servers ready for an influx of people. End of Feb first wave of Closed BETA invites sent out. Closed BETA progesses for four months, constantly sending out more and more invites to continue to stress the server (megaserver) technology. This could be made up of focus testing and BETA weekends where you only get to play for a couple of days at a time, or perhaps even for a few hours. Around about the end of June, they announce the Pre-order Pack deals including physical Collectors Editions and Digital Deluxe editions. By pre-ordering you are guaranteed access to BETA. Closed Beta Ends at the end of July, and Open BETA begins for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, those that pre-ordered the CEs and get 7 days head start can log into the game and a week later, the game launches smoothly with no ques and no server crashes on August 6th. Now, it will be interesting to see how close my guess was!

I see a September release, or later if closed Beta isn't as smooth as I think it will be.

I think we might see some very limited closed testing in March on inhouse servers that are used to model the tech for the megga server. Beta will ramp up imperceptably slowly untill Oct when either the game will be pushed back till Q1/2 2014 "if there has been the need for some redesign". Or open beta Dec 10 for a few days then server shutdown and preorder headstart for Dec 16th if all went well.

Your prediction seems reasonable enough, if they don't release in August or September, I think they would just be stalling for the holiday season. That is unless there's some horrific problem with the game that forces them to reschedule.
