Something Lord of the Rings Online did that I really appreciated was that they included a high quality texture pack option for players. The developers understood that while they needed to make a game that could run on a lot of systems they also understood that some enthusiasts wanted higher quality graphics.

So they were able to provide the best of both worlds. They created a game that ran on a vast number of lower end machines and then they created a high quality texture pack to download to improve the graphics for those gamers with better systems.

I hope the developers take the opportunity to do the same thing with ESO. I understand that in the quest to push hundreds of characters onto the screen at once we're going to have to sacrifice some graphic quality. I'm simply asking that for those of us with the hardware to do it, give us a more beautiful world in which to maim, kill, and eviserate my enemies in.
