Difference between GW2 WvW and TESO Cyrodiil pvp

Can somebody explain me the difference between GW2 WvW and TESO Cyrodiil pvp? In my opinion both sounds very similar!
What do you think will be better in TESO?

Main difference is probably, in GW2 you had 3 random enemies with no real backstory or purpose behind them fighting over a big area.

TESO has.

I'm not sure if there were any sieges in GW2 either?

One big difference is that you'll actually be able to SEE YOUR ENEMIES! Imagine that. lol

Factions are meaningful. You are fighting for more than just a color.

Races are meaningful. You can tell who is friend and who is foe just by looking.

Combat will be better.

Keeps are destructible.

Stuff dont magically get rebuilt after conquered, allowing extreme strategical questions for the attackers.

Attack with siege and crush them quickly, or try and get the main gate only, but that will prove casualty wise to be high, or extremely time consuming.

Or the most common one, starve them out (yet to understand how this one will play out)


Since once captured, you gotta repair everything or you're gonna be in a far worse position than the guys u just got it from.

i hope TESO Cyrodill World PvP is more like Planetside than Gw2.

The Cyrodiil battle doesn't reset on a weekly basis either. It's persistent. There's also leader boards, guilds can claim keeps/ towers/ resources. And, of course, there can be only one
Emperor.

Thought I was gonna say Highlander, didn't ya?
