So I've been looking at all the gameplay footage I can and I still haven't seen or heard anything about bow combat, I'm really hoping they are not excluding bows in this game, it would honestly make or break the game for me. Does anybody know if there will be bows?

Yes there will be bows.

We haven't seen much game play yet. maybe a total of 5 minutes. But yes there will be bows and swords and magic and everything else.

There will be bows of course. We've only seen one gameplay video and the only reason you really didn't see much of bows or magic is because at the time the video was made the targeting system was still in the works so they probably didn't want to put out footage that may not be 100% exactly like what the final product will be like.

Or they simply have a melee only fetish, not too sure.

Why wouldn't there be bows?

I think there is a video where a guy said you can be a archer in heavy armor, so yeah.
