Initial ideas:
I am making him an Imperial for the 'Voice of the Emperor" power. Also, Imperials just seem to be more of the "paladin" type.
He's a very "Thor-ish" looking chap. Full weight, long blond hair, short beard. I named him Tiberius, after Tiber Septim.
Stone? Probably Lord, as it's the best fit, RP wise, though I'm open to any other suggestions here.
Primary skills:
One Handed
Block (with shield)
Heavy Armor
Restoration (for combating undead, of course)
Illusion (primarily for the "Courage" type spells)
Speech (I've never really perked speech, so why not now?)
Secondary Skills (not necessarily perked, but will use the skills enough to raise them):
Archery (bow, or crossbow once I get Dawnguard)
Sneak (my character is brave, not stupid)
Smithing **
Enchanting (only due to recharging items with bought Grand Soul Gems)
** I really don't want to use a crafting skill this time around, since I usually end up using one or several in my other characters, so I wanted more of a challenge and make exploring/finding items more enjoyable. I was just thinking of maybe getting it up to Arcane Smithing, which really still takes a bit of grinding since I'm using the community uncapper mod to slow leveling.
I want to us a follower for the majority of this run through. Which follower would be the best companion for a Paladin? I intend to do the Companion guild quest line, if that matters.
If I forgo smithing, I have to use the best armors/weapons that become available, such as Dwemer or Orcish, or others that might not fit the Paladin mold, just to stay competitive.
Thoughts? Comments? Concerns? Problems I might encounter?
PS: That's right! NINE Divines, dammit! Though I may be forced into an unsavory pact with a daedra or two...
