Does Waiting Increase Dragon Attacks?

I know fast traveling does, but what about waiting?

I've never had a dragon drop on me for waiting. But I never wait in the wild on the account something usually finds me.

Really? I never wait so I woulden't know. I want to try waiting when I smith or eat, to past time without waiting irl.

In that case, as far as I know you might get a vampire attack maybe. I don't know really.
