1: no one knows yet when beta will start, only that the first beta is CLOSED beta...so only a select few

2: Why should skyrim players get in before anyone else ? They would want a diverse set of players tes AND mmo players.

Why? People who support the company by buying their games should get in easier than the general public

No, the people who know how to beta test should get in easier than anyone else. They will be the ones pointing out the problems. Beta isn't so you can play the game sooner. I want in so i can point out any and all lore inconsistencies.

When you filled out the beta application form you had the option to check several boxes on what kind of games you had played earlier, several MMO games were there, and Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim was also there.

As already stated, they will want to diversify the people that test out their game, I'm sure they will add people that's only tried the single-player games, people that's only played MMO's, and players that has played both.

And we do not know when the beta will start, they will post on their facebook, twitter, and website as soon as invites gets sent out.

Well for one, do you have any idea how many copies of Skyrim sold on PC? That would be an insane amount of beta invites.

Secondly this game is being developed by Zenimax Online Studios. Not Bethesda Game Studios.

That's two legit reasons right there.

Yeah well. That's not how it works.

I personally would never expect anything but the game I've bought when buying a game, except when the offer explicitly states that I get stuff beyond the game. After all I'm buying a game to play it and have fun with it, not to have a higher chance at getting to play another game early.

Besides: I've bought and played Morrowind Oblivion and Skyrim so I should get in before you!

Different company. This isn't Bethesda.

Yep and I played the games before Morrowind, and some people even played all of those that came for mobile phones so there's plenty of fans who support them from the start, enough that they wouldn't consider majority of those who played Skyrim. But as already stated, it isn't being made by Bethesda.

And, also as already stated, beta testing isn't about getting the game earlier than anyone else. Once you get your copy of the game you need to play it, find problems, try to replicate the problem, write all the crap down and report it and then do it again and again. You also must not share any info from the game whatsoever on places like this forum.
