so throughout my time in skyrim one thing i could never figure out is, where are these "A Redguard" or "A Wood Elf" coming from? they always seem to be decked out in the best(leveled) armor they can get their hands on and always have it out for the dragonborn. they always attack on sight and without provocation, and they never leave behind a clue as to why they hate you.. has anyone figured out where these dudes are coming from? or what purpose they serve other than to lay to smack down on me when i least expect it? these guys are generally some of the toughest humanoid NPC's i encounter so it kind of strikes me as odd that there isnt a backstory for them

No real backstory... just the ones you make up for them.

They come in more races then that too. Encountered a heavy armored Breton mage today.

I always thought they were very angry people.
