I seem to have two glitches related to the Arcaneum going at the same time and I think they are causing a third glitch. 1) I was sent to get a rare book, which was already in my inventory. I went to the dungeon with quest marker over chest... I think you all know the rest (not in chest, in my inventory, can't drop, or end quest). 2) At the same time I was given another quest to find Shalidor's insights and no quest marker was given. I know these are two common glitches, but they seem to be causing a third, which I'll explain below, and I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.

3) My illusion and destruction levels just got to 90 each and I was hoping to do the related radiant quests. Neither of the quest givers will give me the dialogue for the quests.

Does anyone know if this is because of the two glitches I mentioned above happening at the same time? I also had one of the rupture quests going but went and closed that, ending that quest, and still would not be given the radiant quests requiring the level 90 magic. I was really looking forward to those high level spells!!

1- You are completely screwed. Had that happen to me before. It's best not to pick up books in chests. No fix, unless you're on PC.

2- Not related. Some times it works at 90. You will have to get those skills to 100.

Ah, one of those ridiculous glitches the Bethesda hasn't fixed for inexplicable reasons.

I mean, how hard is it to remove the quest tag from items that they KNOW to be glitched for EVERYONE in a patch? Pathetic.
