Has anyone ever lost a tavern brawl?

Post » Sun Jan 27, 2013 1:11 pm

Today I had this brawl again with the cocky nord woman and, being bored by the clickfest I had a revelation that I've never been anywhere close to losing one of these things, regardless how weak my characters were. Is it just me or the whole thing is program controlled so the player always wins?

I've asked this question myself before. No one has ever had an answer. I've been in probably 25 or 30 brawls with several different characters and have never come close to losing one. I'm inclined to think it just can't happen.

Yeah, never lost, but one or two were pretty close. You could always just stop punching and see what happens :frog:

I was about to lose once, but I was a fresh lvl 10 or so fighting that guy on the bridge on morthal. had to actually kite him while I recovered my stamina.

Same here. I usually peel my armor down to whatever my opponent's wearing, and I still win handily.

It's impossible to lose in brawls agaisnt men or mer, literally.

I did brawl a Khajiit Skooma dealer once at lv 13-ish, though.
Got my [censored] handed to me! He did that violent nose-breaking kill move too.
It was really brutal :c

Damn, I knew Khajiits must be good at this... but if I meet this guy I'll let him win so I could see the finisher :hehe:

I lost the only tavern brawl I've ever entered, fighting Cosnach in the Silver Blood Inn in Markarth. He beat my Dunmer pretty bad, so I bought him a drink, and then surprisingly he agreed to join me anyways.

I was playing on Master difficulty and was relatively low level at the time, however.

You can lose. Here's how... Let them hit you and Don't hit them back. Simple as that.

But if you Keep hitting them you will always win. Which is kind of sad.

 That's actually rather funny. Still, I had no idea they would still agree...

I've had several low level characters brawl with Utey and playing on Master, my characters basically exchanged blows for four or five swings then run around the fire with a healing spell at hand.

They all lasted well into the 10 minute mark.

What ?!?

I've probably tried half a dozen brawls and every time, I got totally destroyed except one time. The companions once sent me to beat Faendal up and that pansy elf handed my butt right back to me. Now I think I must be doing something wrong...

It can be a terrifying experience to low level characters.

When I was low level, like 2nd, I got my hiney whooped. Actually don't think I won one until I was 7th or 8th level, though I tried. I was rp'ing, so I was really weak. I was really weak for quite a long time. LOL

No but they take so incredibly long at high levels because of their scaled health sometimes I just wanna give up and lose on purpose...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bwQAGPV6MuQ, this is exactly what happened to me! Except the kill move he did on me was way more humiliating :D
Don't understimate that guy if you find him on low - mid levels!
