If I may, I'd like to request some remodelling. (because I'm 100% hopeless when it comes to these sorts of things)

I'd like for that column to go away, and to still have the remaining model look "normal" as though that column was never there to be removed in the first place.

If anyone is curious this is for a machine that produces Dwemer automatons, I need for spheres and spiders to be able to spawn from the same source. I'm planning to do the old enable/disable switcheroo with the furniture pieces, but that column is ruining the effect. This is for a group project and the workload is already pretty heavy for all parties, so any help is very much appreciated.
