So I had just gotten a certain item from a certain member of the thieves guild which needed to be taken back to it' s rightful place when I decided to stop doing this quest for a while and go do something else.

I remembered I had received a letter from the Jarl of Falkreath requesting my services so off I went. On my arrival the Jarl asked me to dispose of some bandits who had been troubling the hold for some time to which I happily agreed as I was looking to purchase land to build a home.

I headed North West towards the bandit camp but noticed a tomb nestled into the rock which I thought looked interesting so I went to take a closer look.

Turns out the tomb was the place I was meant to take the item back to from my previous quest which blew my mind as I had turned the quest tracker off

Must be Nocturnal keeping me in check!

anyone else every had anything similar happen to them?
