So I want to make an imperial. I know they aren't playable, but none-the-less I will do so anyway. So what do you guys think is a better base to do so from, Breton or Nord? Kind of both lore wise and appearance wise. I'm thinking breton, but I'm not entirely sure.

Maybe Nord?

Probably breton, nord heads seem "taller" if that makes sense, and they seem just bigger in general. I think bretons are more comparable to imperials.

Does it matter? They both Human. Pick whatever fits your class.

I would say a Nord they are closer ancestors are they not?

Bretons are shoter, and have Elvish features. Or are supposed to, since they're "manmer."

They are all related, but nords are closest to the ancestor, like high elves being closet to the ancestor. I'm more so also asking which side you think an imperial would go to. I figure daggerfall is more into restoring the empires order than the others, but perhaps I'm not seeing the bigger picture.

Imperials are descended from the Nords. Just make a Nord with a close-cut, dark colored hairstyle.

For the record I'm also an Imperial type guy but in their absence I'll be going with Breton because Breton is my second favorite race. If I was actually trying to recreate an Imperial, though, I would go with Nord.
