HI all

Anybody in the UK found TESO for less than £41.87.

TESO does look amazing but I am not going to pay £40 and a subscription, I dont mind paying a subscription, But the initial purchase of the game has to be reasonable amount.

Does anybody else find this price outrageous?

Bienvenue au forums.

They have not released a box price, what you are seeing is a placeholder.

Nope, in fact i will buy the CE edition which will most lightly come in at over 100 euros and pay a sub if it's P2P.

Welcome to the forums!

How much was WoW when it first came out? The expansions cost around £30 each plus monthly subs. Most games are £30-£40 when they come out. It's the average price. Usually.

Game prices aren't what they used to be. They could easily charge around $60USD like most current releases.

Personally, I think no game should be more then $40. I would be willing to buy more games at that price point.

Ah see I'm in the UK, averages here are around £40-£45 for consoles, around £30-£40 for PC

I am from New Zealand and the average cost of new release console games are like 80-110 NZDollars. It is horrible here.

Hi

WoW was £32 when first realised, I still have my orignal purchurse box with the price on it. At the time £32 was a bit pricey, I still remember thinking " how the hell am I going to explain this one to the wife" and " at least I dont have to tell her about the subscription for a month!"

The point is that there are plenty of MMO's out there at the moment, The one positive thing is that Elder Scrolls is already an established brand, but that doesn't mean it can take its consumers for a ride.

I do hope they think long and hard about the cost and payment model.

That's just over £50 here. That doesn't seem too high in conversion but when you're living there, and not used any other currency without conversion etc that is pretty blinking high. That's a tad rubbish.

Just buy it 3-6 month after release and the price will be around 15£.

I think the normal version will cost between 30 and 50 €. Pretty standard nothing special.
