Does DG give restoration magic a completely new edge?

Okay, before I got DG never really bothered with Restoration magic apart from the odd healing spell. Neither Wards or Turn Undead spells seemed to appeal to me, so my restoration skill obviously lagged behind my other skills.

However ever since the installment of DG the new spells it adds have really seemed to liven up the Restoration school, for me at least. Now it can be used offensively as well as defensively, it feels like a much more viable option for combat, and is now my most used school of magic (there's just something fun about sending a ball of light hurtling towards a Draugr and seeing him fly burning across the room).

Does anybody else welcome the new restoration spells DG has brought to the table?
