Hey guys, I just made a new character in Skyrim and I already have a bunch of rules set in like no fast travelling, no carrying ridiculous amounts of stuff, etc. Anyway, I want to be a proper thief/assassin and I was wondering if making money of stealing and assassinating could be livable. I'm not trying to be super rich with daedric armour or anything, just a lowly thief. Also, can you survive the game without using the smithing feature of the game? I feel like a thief/assassin wouldn't know how to smith so I don't want to use smithing.

I was thinking about enchanting my stuff to increase my survivability but enchanting will take up points for my proper thiefy skills...

Help?
