Need help quickly..!

Hello everyone, you may not know yet but I've decided to make my own Bosmer guild, aimed at archers and hunters and what have you.
It's growing healthily at the moment, with quite a few people already joining.
Now, at the moment it's only a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/ValenwoodArchers), and when people ask to join I want to ask them a few basic questions about themselves.
But, a Facebook group/page can't message people, so how can I get round this?
Thanks in advance, I really appreciate it!

(Also, sorry for not being very related to TESO, but it kind of is, just need some quick advice!)

Apparently they have guild tools that are integrated with Facebook and Twitter etc, so I would just wait. Most of the people who join a guild this early aren't likely to stay anyway.

Edit: Sorry that wasn't the happy news you were wanting.

Just curious, how are you going to do any PvE content if you don't have any tanky characters? Or are you aimed at PvP and RP only?

Hahah, no problem, I'm well aware of the Facebook connectivity they're going to be putting out. Hopefully I can transform the page into an ES Guild and be good to go with a healthy amount of members already there.

Well, we'll see how it turns out really, I'm sure we'll have those who will use archery when it's appropriate and will use alternatives when appropriate also.
But yes, we are mostly going to focus on PvP, but still do a fair amount of PvE.

There are quite a few ways of getting around this, but I will highlight two options I think work well.

My first question would be, "Does your Guild have a community hub?". Discussion and collaboration are key in any form of community. As a Community Developer and Web Designer I often direct people to either setup a forum on their website, or begin using Facebook groups. The downside to the Facebook groups is the required connection between a members personal account (Which contains sensitive information in some cases) and their community face.
With a forum connected to your website you can expand your capabilities exponentially, but in most cases also incur some additional costs to your organization. There are free forum options** out there, but often times are much less flexible and sustainable for a growing communities needs (think proper moderation or expansion options).
Choosing the right solution for your needs will take some basic research but can be sorted out in an afternoon and implemented over a weekend.

Another solution is to try using a third party form system like Google Forms*. If a person comments on a post or conversation you can direct them with a reply comment to your form.
From there you can gather further information about the prospective member, gather their email address and forward them to any necessary information.

Hopefully these are helpful tips that will point you in a direction that fosters growth.

Cheers,
Veneration

I assume a tank can have a bow, it was even mentioned in one of the videos I think. I am really curious about the 'any character can use any weapon' thing and hope they have stayed away from 'can use y (If you want), but should use x (To be good)'.
