Future playable races? : Othor Games

Like the title says, will there be different playable races in the future as addition to expansion packs etc. ? I guess that would be quite a stretch, since all the races are already playable (except for the Imperial). Then again, we have no idea what kind of races roamed Tamriel 1000 years in the past.

All races aren't playable (Maormer, Imga different akavirii races etc). But most of them don't live on Tamriel and they might just don't care at this moment, on problem with adding "new" races is to give each faction something.

Actually, there are many races at that time. There is lore that supports all of them as described in the Imperial Library.

Even in the current timeline of Skyrim, there are known to be many types of Khajiit.

Blackmarsh was home to several races, like the humanoid Metal People.

Most likely not. They're probably are going to stick with the main Elder Scrolls races (save Imperials).

Or at least, they shouldn't add any more.

I don't know, are there any intelligent races out there besides what we already know? Is there any room for new races? They can't really just pull a race out of their ass like WoW does, this is 1,000 years before the first TES, so how do you explain how they showed up, fought in a number of wars that eventually lead up to TES:Arena, and then some time between now and then they just vanish like the Dwemer?

They will probably add more later, IMO.

I would like to be able to play Tsaesci, Kothringi, Imga, Maormer, Imperial, ect.

Some wouldn't be good playable races though, like sload.

There are already a ton of races in the lore that haven't appeared physically in the games.

Aren't Imga just an ape race that want to be Altmer, going to great lengths to mimick them? So you give them to Aldmeri, but what about the other factions?

I think there will definetly be future races in an expansion. I would expect 2-3 more races in the future.

Well I'd think 3, since if one faction gets a new race the others will have to too. Or the butthurt will rise.

Imga could go to AD. Kajhiit breeds are also a must.
Maormer could go to EP. Hating Altmer and all.
Tsaesci could go to DC. Trying to reclaim the Empire after the Potentate.

Imperials could be open to who ever.

I sense a Return of The Dwemer expansion pack. If they care to be historically accurate so to speak then I think they have their work cut out for themselves if they add another race.

I dont know about anyone else. Kothringi are pretty well died out, and there isnt any others options for the DC

None, try the Imperial Library. (but when it comes to gameplay information UESP is a lot better than wikia. I just really don't like the wikia one lol)

I dont recall the use of the word "abundant," though I know they're around.
