Exterior View Problem

Post » Wed Jan 30, 2013 12:13 pm

I watched the Beth tutorial #10 - Exteriors and am having trouble : I'm trying to add a dungeon entrance and am simply copying what the tutorial does to learn how to do it.

However, when I go to cell X=3, y= -11, I don't get the same view as in the tutorial. I get to the same (correct) cell, but mine looks like it has water flowing instead of being dry land. As a result, I can not judge the correct height of the dungeon entrance above ground level. I tried just estimating and placed the entrance. When I go to the game to test the result, the area is actually dry ( as it should be) but my entrance wall is happily floating in the air.

I realize that I can just iterate my guess and eventually get it right, but I must be doing something wrong. Is there a filter or switch I should be turning on/off, or some wrong setting in my set up?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,
