Trial or no trial...

Heard some things about Elder scrolls online that dosnt sound very appealing.

The first is 5 buttons and 1 ultima button does not sound like alot. I have heard there is a bigger focus on dodging things which will also be a part of the gameplay.

What this could mean is that the abilities in the game is not auto target like most other MMO's. Maybe something like Tera?

They aim for 200 people on the screen without the servers buckling... yes I will believe that when I see it.

I was one of the people who started playing warhammer online when it came out and when we came of the fortress it was crashes upon crashes of the server because of the amount of people there. It was bad....

Also as I said I played warhammer and SWTOR which both failed horribly, and I wanted to ask if there was going to be some sort of trial where i dont have to buy the game before im sure that I really want to play it.

Can't see a trial. Trials are what games give when they start scraping the barrel for all those who they missed initially.

Edit: In regards to the powers ask yourself what you really need. Attacking is done by mouse, big attack, small attack and block. You probably get a CC/interrupt, CC breaker, AoE, Buff and Debuff in the other slots, not much missing. I have never seen the point of 10 different ways to hit someone with a sword.

There will likely be a traditional free 30 days with the purchase (going on the guess that it'll be sub based). Free trials usually much a while after launch, though.

Again, there's games that DON'T offer a trial? Maybe not on launch there will be, but after a few months it's bound to be released, I'd be surprised if they didn't. That's if it's P2P, of course.

You're wise to be cautious with MMOs after those two, however they are trying to make the combat like elder scrolls, with the reason there being a hot bar at all is because you can't pause to swap to different spells and powers. Not only this but they say that they built the game's engine with lag in mind and the character models to allow for that many on screen without it crashing.
OT: I don't think that there will be a trial immediately but possibly after launch.

The combat in ESO will be more real time based than past MMOs. It'll be more similar to the single player ES games than it will to past MMO games. Tera and GW2 being a few recent MMOs that will have similar combat to ESO.

Zenimax has built there own game engine from the ground up with the main purpose of support hundreds of players on your screen.

As for a trial that is what Open Beta is for. Closed Beta will be starting soon, than right before launch they will have an Open Beta where you should be able to give the game a trial before buying it.
