If you dont know, Unbound, is the first quest you get in skyrim, and Khajiits have extra unarmed damge, therefore It is BETTER to do fight through Helgen as an unarmed khajiit than a 1-handed khajiit.
Thus, making Khajiits the Ideal starting race.
