Eve-Online Pvp?

I want the PVP to be the same as Eve-Online..

A huge area where its open-pvp were guilds can take over villages (maybe castles) and fight for control over them or you can simply party up.
More over this shouldn't be faction based but rather Guild based when a Guild has taken over a village or castle it becomes something like a base where they can build turrets that fire arrows to defend off any intruders such as People parties that are hunting down other people.

There should also be mines and dungeons were Guilds can mine/loot the dungeons and travel it back to there village to store it. They then have to take that stored loot back to the city to sell it (these materials should be more expensive then on the Pve grounds). While these materials are transported people can try to steal them by killing the travelers of that guild or mine them secretly and hope they don't get caught by a huge number.


What do you think about the idea?

I am not talking about World Pvp i am talking about a huge area.

And i am not talking about Faction vs Faction but rather Guild vs Guild vs Guild vs Guild and so forth..
or Big mobs that go on a killing spree and kill anything they find in the area...
Also what about the materials found in these areas are they more expensive?
are you able to attack a village and take it over for the guild and not necessary for the faction?

are you able to attack a village and take it over for the guild except for the faction?

No PvP is faction based. It has been likened to DAoC.

Then no, it won't work. There is already a huge open area which is like 1/3 of the entire world and guilds have a lot of influence, and there are huge groups and zergs as you describe, plus dungeons in this big area that are non instanced that you're asking for.

I know you are not talking about world PvP, because it doesn't exist in this game. The guild vs guild thing won't happen though.

The problem with attempting to replicate EVE's nullsec political/military arena is that EVE can easily include enormous amounts of territory because a huge amount of the game is just... empty space. They don't have to meticulously construct the world in which these fights are taking place. ZOS DOES have to hand-craft all of the stuff that's going into their game, and even if they, say, recycle "keep" graphics, they still need to vary the appearance of the zone. No one would want to fight over a bunch of cloned models in a flat and featureless plane.

So adding in a sufficiently-large area to create the same sort of arena as EVE has would require an absolutely enormous amount of manpower and resources which have to be taken from other areas of the game.

So you can't take anything over with your guild.. Guilds are irrelevant in Pvp except for communicating?

Thats to bad.. it would be cool though just imagine the things you can do in the 0.0 areas of Eve on a game as ESO.
