I'm new at making an interior, so I thought I'd start simple and modify an existing one. When I duplicate a cell and change its name, should I also edit the cell info?

What is the sffect of changing the common data tab "location" information? (I'm guessing a set of pre-set lightings, ambient sounds, etc.)
If I have a custom exterior cell, how can I get it to show up on the location pull down as a choice for the internal cell?
