Talsgar the Wanderer: Skyrim' Roaming Psychopath?

Dunno if anyone else has experienced the following, but I thought I'd share this with y'all:

With my last character, I have run into Tsalgar quite frequently. On the road, he seems to be rather pleasant, bluff and hearty. However, 9 times out of 10, he's in a fight with somebody or something.

Anyways: At a certain point, I ran into him at the inn/tavern in windhelm. For reasons beyond my understanding, he all of a sudden picked a fight with EVERYONE in the inn! I left because I didn't want any part of it.

Next time I met him was on the road, and everything was back to normal.

Then I met him later on, while I was strolling down the road to Markarth. For absolutely no reason whatsoever, HE ATTACKS ME.

So I killed him. Got some decent loot from his shattered corpse, too. Wandering Wierdo....

Is there some secret story behind this guy? Is he actually a free-roaming Skyrim version of Norman Bates? Clearly the man is not playing with a full deck.

I seem to run into him rather often as well. However, I've only met him on the road and he has never attacked me. He does seem rather strong for an ordinary bard though...
