Assuming there is the standard steel, dwarven, orcish, ebony, daedric etc. and there's multiple versions of them, what would you like to see? Are there any specific armors you loved in versions of TES? They copied a similar steel like armor from Skyrim, so I don't see why it can't be done with others.

Personally I'd love to see Morrowind's Daedric, face of god, inspiration and terror helmets, but mostly the face of god. Morrowind's Glass armor was pretty tight, along with bonemold, chitin, the Tribunal Royal Guard armor and Ordinator armor. I know people will bash me for saying this, but I kind of liked Oblivions glass armor as well. Golden Saint armor + Dark seducer armor for sure <3.. oh the RP opporunities. Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw was pretty sick too.

If there's any kind of custom armor you'd like to see go ahead and describe it/show pics, I know it'd be cool to introduce some of the modded armor, but I don't know how likely any of it would actually get in game. They said since it's an MMO they aren't allowing modding for the most part, but it was mostly gameplay. In WoT you can mod tank skins while only you're able to see your work, maybe they can do that but with armor so people can mod the crap out of stuff haha.

Pretty, elegant and (mostly) realistic. Not bulky and no gigantic shoulderpads, please.

I just hope we get a lot of choice and that the girls also can pick something not "chainmail bikini" or "nightgown with stockings" like stuff.
Not that I mind the option - but it shouldn't be 85% of the gear sets.

From Morrowind all parts of Indoril armor and Imperial Chain Cuirass. From Oblivion Mithril armor and I wish Dwemer and Ebony to be close for the Oblivions design. From Skyrim Studded, Scaled, Banded Iron, Dawnguard and Stormcloak officer armor. And I hope Orcish and Fur armor to be close to Skyrims designs.

I REALLY want a lot more variety than we've been given in TES games. I know the Devs have been saying a lot that they want the player to feel unique and stand out in this world, so it gives me hope. I don't want to see every level capped warrior in the same exact armor with the same Daedric sword. Haha. An idea that I absolutely love and think might be in the game is faction specific armors. I don't imagine seeing the Skyrim-like horned helmets on my High elf warrior. I think that would be a really nice touch. I'd love to see some armor dyes or some other unique ways of making your armor stand out. I'm a huge fan of enchantment glows too. They're already in TES, so I don't see why they wouldn't be here.

Pretty sure I saw a unique shield in the Intro to ESO video. Argonian was holding it at about 4:12. Kind of sort of Chitin-like. Haha.

Faction specific armor would be really nice. npcs with Imperial like armor except for their own faction and their own styles would be nice.

Like you said, keeping armor province or faction specific would be nice. I don't want to be wearing some furry armor in Hammerfell's deserts. Since there's literally no communication between factions, it's almost like they're trying to seperate the minds of the TES community and get people their own extremely sick sense of pride and loyalty. Having armors be limited to specific factions would contribute to this.

Should I stop dreaming about this soon-to-be amazing MMO? I might get my hopes too high and be dissapointed.

i am just hoping that they include greaves into the game. i am not a huge fan of the skirts that were one ALL of the armor in skyrim. was it just too cold in skyrim to not have a skirt on?
