Post » Sun Feb 03, 2013 11:15 am

... Like me.

Can someone please break it down to me?

You know the:

-What is it?
-How does it work?
-What uses does it offer?
-Step by step, How do you do it?

Thank you.

BTW, explaining it to me like a toddler is permitted.

the restoration loop trick is using a fortify restoration potion to enhance any enchantment you have on your armor

basically you create a fortify restoration potion while wearing fortify alchemy clothing creating a potion with 30% boost
look at the stats of the armor and then drink the potion you just made, unequip and re-equip youre alchemy gear and the boost to youre fortify alchemy would have increased
this can be done over and over until youre making potions giving 1000% increase.
doing this will allow you to make fortify enchanting and smithing potions doing 1000% increase and in doing so be able to enchant and smith things to 1000% effectiveness,

i do recommend a limit though as doing it to much will remove all joy and fun from the game when you can one hit a master level ancient dragon in one hit with an iron dagger

True, except for the ingredient gathering part. Best trick is to start near Riften and swim toward Ivarstead. Wherever you see dragonflies, there will be three fish underneath. Harvest the Longfins and Spadetails only. By the time you get to the end of the river, you'll have enough for a few dozen potions, when combined with readily available Salt Piles. ;)

It's relatively easy, but you have to get a feel for it. On your first few runs, you'll waste a lot of ingredients, so I recommend saving first so you can practice.

You'll need several each of rings/circlets/necklaces/gloves/falmer helmets, so get those things together first as well.
