I love Serana as a follower but sometimes you want to put the "Dawnguard" questline on the backburner and maybe get on with some other stuff.

I saved first because I realised she acted differently than other 'followers': ("I'd like to trade some stuff with you"... "Not gonna happen").

So I suggest we part ways and she said "Ok" and walked off... rather than giving me the good old "If ever again you require my aid to brave the wilds of Tamriel, seek me out at the 'Mincing Mudcrab'... etc... (You know what I mean) like every other follower before her.

So if you take the Vampire side, after you get Serana back safely and she chooses to follow you... are you able to dismiss her and then collect her from somewhere later?

Anyone know?
