I am trying to open the door in Bloodskall Barrow. So far I figured out how to move the ribbons twice. I can't even remember the sequence now. I think it was first a sideways power attack, and then maybe a forward power attack. But this last move has got me stumped. (I never, ever take the directional power attack perks because I svck at the controller) I have tried sprinting power attacks. Backwards power attacks. Sideways power attacks. Standing power attacks. Nothiing.

I have also tried different power attacks on the door itself. Still nothing.

Help me before my character ends up like Gratian.

(Also, I don't see any pillar as is mentioned in Gratian's journal.)

you have to aim the charge at the red lines in the wall.

The last ones are simply sidways attacks but you need to be aiming higher up.

By this point the red lines are way up above me.

Ok, I didn't realize that just aiming at them, even if you couldn't hit them would work. Thanks for the tip.

Yeah, so look up, point your cross hair up at them, i aim a bit to the right and do a left power sidways attack and it will shoot the charge up at them.

Yeah its the energy released from the sword that is opening them up, not the sword strike itself.
